DIT-DEQ Division of Water Resources seeks a Data Specialist to aid in the management of drinking water data and the submission of necessary compliance data to EPA's new Drinking Water State-Federal-Tribal Information Exchange System (DW-SFTIES). The Applications Systems Specialist will be tasked with supporting the Public Water Supply Section by handling data submissions to EPA's existing Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS) and overseeing DEQ's local installation of SDWIS State. Responsibilities include facilitating a successful transition to DW-SFTIES, preparing relevant data systems and personnel, in addition to server administration duties and deployment/maintenance of third-party web applications such as Drinking Water Watch.
