Pathfinders, a full-service integrated marketing agency, is seeking a principled, committed, and hardworking Social Media Specialist to join our team.

This is a full-time, permanent position and is 100% remote eligible with occasional travel requirements.

A Social Media Specialist at Pathfinders will actively collaborate with the Social Media Managers and various internal stakeholders to optimize strategy, tools, processes, and tactics.

The role will also be responsible for overseeing all Social Studio project management activities for their assigned projects.

What you will do, in greater detail:

  • Work closely with internal and external teams, via remote and in-person interactions, to ensure requirements and strategic direction are met. Overnight/weekend travel will be required for certain events.
  • Support social strategy development by compiling client research, competitive data and social platform information.
  • Participate in meetings with client teams to discuss opportunities that will help advance business objectives. Overnight/weekend travel will be required for certain events.
  • Manage thirdparty relationships with external vendorpartners contracted for social media services including, but not limited to, community management, customer service, scheduling services, billing, etc.
  • Oversee social media community management strategy and owned channels, providing planning, content direction, and posting.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders ((Assistant) Social Media Director, Social Media Managers, data analytics, etc.) to establish processes and oversee execution for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for all social clients.
  • Participate in the development of highquality content across all relevant social channels. Overnight/weekend travel to the PF headquarters, clients, or other locations will be required for certain projects/events.
  • Assist the social studio team in establishing enterprisewide social media policies, procedures, and workflows based on Pathfinders needs and industry best practices.
  • Help manage social media retainer budgets, outofpocket costs, and passthrough costs.
  • Oversee the development of accurate and thorough contracts, Scope of Work, and briefing documents in collaboration with internal agency team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2years agency or marketing experience required.
  • Personal passion and participation on social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).
  • Proficient in social media native reporting metrics, social media management platforms, CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital presentation materials.
  • Exceptional ability to prepare written materials and social media content
  • Exceptional selfmotivation and passion about all things social media
  • Strong ability to analyze and report out social media analytics and provide actionable recommendations based on performance
  • Emerging ability to evaluate creative and think strategically
  • Strong interpersonal skill
  • Strong ability to receive, digest, and implement strategic marketing direction and initiatives
  • Advanced knowledge of social media platforms and industry trends in marketing and social media
  • Developing understanding of the creative process / associated deliverables, no matter the medium, and be able to effectively communicate to internal stakeholders and clients
