Mechanical Engineer

Engage in a variety of engineering tasks, including designing new products and enhancing existing ones within the Amada line of equipment and systems.

Utilize deep expertise in engineering calculations to assess product efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to develop and implement Material Handling equipment solutions aimed at enhancing production quality, efficiency, and volume.

Demonstrate creativity and independent judgment in addressing engineering challenges, with a focus on problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
Lead and direct the work of others as needed, demonstrating leadership and mentorship qualities.

Actively participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely completion of assignments with a high level of integrity and originality.

Maintain effective communication with supervisors, reporting on project progress and seeking guidance on complex issues.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.

Possess 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related area, demonstrating a track record of success and expertise in the field.

Proficiency in materials knowledge, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), and engineering calculations.
Strong skills in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, enabling efficient design and modeling.
Willingness to travel occasionally (1 to 3 times per month) for business purposes, including extended stays.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
