    Manufacturing Maintenance Technician at Balance Staffing

    We are currently looking for an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team in Durham, NC.

    • Shift: 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (A Shift rotation)
    • Location: Durham, NC

    Role Summary: The Maintenance Technician 2 is responsible for supporting all manufacturing process equipment, conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. This role also involves analyzing failure root causes, driving continuous system improvements, and ensuring equipment is optimized for production.

    Primary Duties:

    • Preventative Maintenance: Perform and document maintenance procedures, comply with FDA, GMP, ISO, and OSHA standards.
    • Troubleshooting: Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems.
    • Operational Efficiency: Ensure equipment meets OEE goals for efficient production.
    • Root Cause Analysis: Lead root cause analysis efforts and equipment improvements.

    Experience: The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in electronics or a related field plus 2 years of mechanical/electrical maintenance experience, or 4 years of relevant experience. Experience in cGMP/regulated environments is a plus.

    Skills: We are looking for a self-starter, detail-oriented team player with strong documentation and communication skills. Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to safety and GMP policies.

    Working Conditions: This role involves supporting high-speed automated equipment with an annual output of 100 million bottles, all while adhering to safety and GMP standards.
