- Process federal and multi-state payroll reporting, worker's compensation, and unemployment filings.
- Manage and maintain records for the annual benefits audits and workers' compensation audits.
- Review benefits invoices and 401k programs. Help resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Reconcile monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintain statistical data relative to premiums, claims, and costs.
- Ad hoc reporting and research as needed.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred; nine years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Five years of benefits and payroll administration experience is required.
- Ceridian and NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Accounting experience is a plus.
- Must be analytical and a creative problem solver.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proven resolution skills.
- Ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Work as a team member as well as independently, exercising judgment and initiative.
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Description
As part of the Human Resources team, the Payroll Administrator will assist with all areas of payroll processing, and ensure all employees are accurately and timely paid. Additionally, they will perform all activities to autonomously manage and process complex bi-weekly payroll for 300+ employees, maintain all related records for exempt and non-exempt employees with special deductions and one-time payments due to benefit programs, file tax reports, voluntary deductions, annual state reports, and process involuntary deductions via Ceridian/Netsuite.
This position will report to the VP of Human Resources.
