As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of instruction in the absence of regular classroom teachers.

Responsibilities:

Manage classroom dynamics and maintain a positive learning environment conducive to student success.
Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular classroom teacher, ensuring educational objectives are met.
Engage students in the learning process through effective communication, interactive teaching methods, and creative lesson delivery.
Assess student understanding and progress, providing feedback to students and regular teachers as needed.
Provide support and assistance to students who require additional help or accommodations.
Uphold professional standards of conduct, including punctuality, confidentiality, and adherence to school policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with regular classroom teachers, school administrators, and support staff to ensure continuity in instruction and student support.
Fulfill administrative duties such as taking attendance, following emergency procedures, and leaving detailed notes for the regular teacher.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred (or currently enrolled in a teacher education program).
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with students.

$21.00 per hour
