SUMMARY
Software Engineer develops, tests and implements business application solutions with demonstrated proficiency using a variety of tools and technologies.

The scope of the applications will vary in size and complexity from department level to enterprise wide and may be internally focused within Andersen Corporation or externally focused to support a variety of customer channels.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Independentlyworking closely with business customers to understand, define and document business requirements, functional requirements and design requirements formedium to highcomplexity assignments.

Consultwith Product Owners, Account Managers and IT Architects in the design phase ofmedium to highcomplexity projects to leverage technology and provide implementationrecommendationsandaccurateestimates to support business process improvements
Responsiblefor the design, development, testing, deployment and documentation ofmedium to highcomplexity assignments
Coordinate and assistwith the deployment of applications into the production environment
Completescomprehensiveunit, system and performance testing of application that includes its components and interfaces.
Assistsless experienceSoftware Engineers in the test plan development, execution and validation
Participate in the definition and adherenceto design, development and testing methods and techniques that meet corporate IT standards.
Independentlyestimate the design, development, testing and deployment ofmedium to highcomplexity assignments and meet the estimated time for delivery.
Developand maintain relationships with business customers, project leaders and architects

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related discipline
Minimum of 3 yearsof development experience with a variety of leading-edge development languages and platforms
RPG/RPGLE
RPG Free
iSeries,OS400 Operations/CL
Strong working knowledge of business systems and processes
Excellent communication skills
Ability to effectively organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
3 day in office required, more as projects or responsibility dictates
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

BPCS
Query 400/DBU

EDI
Voice picking software support.
Microsoft SQL/.NET
Power BI
Travel is infrequent but may be required.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.

Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
