- Application development in C, C++, Python, and embedded software development for real-time processors.
- Implementation of real-time controls, signal processing algorithms, data normalization & management, and inter/intra-process communications.
- Support all phases of detailed system and subsystem development activities for embedded applications, including upfront analysis, prototyping, end-item development, and evaluation in laboratory and field test environments.
- Sustainment of software development environment across multiple ARM-based processors.
- Work within a multi-discipline team of systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to build complete solutions and products.
- Hands-on lab testing of electronics hardware - Experienced with test equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers) and software debugging tools (JTAG, ICE, GDB).
- Analysis of measured data from laboratory and/or field testing. Comparison of expected performance or truth data to actual measured performance.
- Lead by example to enforce software architecture, design, implementation, and test methodologies.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams locally and across physical locations.
- Work with product owners and software teams to define and implement iterative software releases to meet customer deliverables.
- BS and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry
- Experience with the following is required:
- Iterative development.
- Embedded C/C++ Applications.
- Yocto, Artifactory, Git, and Jenkins.
- Working with software development processes across multiple physical sites.
- Possess excellent organizational and communications skills.
- Able to prioritize work and maximize productivity.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Experience with radar, SIGINT, and/or electronic warfare product development.
- Experience developing and maintaining μService embedded software solutions.
- Experience developing web-based Graphical User Interfaces.
- Experience with JavaScript and NodeJS.
- Familiar with RF signal chains (i.e., mixing, filtering, up/down conversion, etc.).
- Familiar with virtualization like VMs and Docker.

TSC's Innovation & Product Cell (IPC) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL, with an educational and/or industry focus on the design of embedded, real-time software applications, including Linux device drivers, user applications, and user interfaces. In this role, the candidate will develop real-time embedded software in support of new radar and electronic warfare technology.

Responsibilities:
This position requires a flexible individual with experience in rapid, new product development. TSC's IPC team is chartered with developing new products by leveraging technology across TSC. This team is responsible for rapid development, demonstration, and initial product rollout. This position requires an individual familiar with all phases of product development and deployment including changing requirements, hardware, software, and mechanical integration dependencies, field testing, and configuration management. The individual in this position needs to design and implement modular software that supports a product line with different features and at different levels of maturity.
