    Job Title: Attorney - Liability Insurance Defense

    Location: Orlando, FL

    Type: Full-Time [Hybrid]

    Description:

    The client is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 1-10 years of liability insurance defense experience to join their team in Orlando, FL. This position offers a great opportunity for a qualified candidate who possesses the ability to effectively work a case up for trial.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage a caseload from inception to resolution, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
    • Conduct legal research and provide analysis of legal issues.
    • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
    • Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as necessary.
    • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to achieve client objectives.

    Requirements:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to the Florida State Bar in good standing.
    • Minimum of 1-10 years of experience in liability insurance defense.
    • Strong litigation skills, including case management and trial preparation.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
