- Preparing for the sleep study prior to the patient's arrival.
- Reviewing patient information in order to meet the patient-specific needs; review the patient's history and verify the medical order; verify patient identification upon arrival; explain the procedure to the patient; select appropriate equipment and calibrate for testing; and perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP) interface and desensitization.
- Following procedural protocols, performs data acquisition while monitoring the study, documents routine observations, intervenes as needed to ensure patient safety, scores the study and clinical events, prepares a report and provides patient education.
- NYS and RPSGT Polysomnography Certified or NYS Respiratory Therapist
- Associate's degree or higher. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
