- Participate in the assessment of dietary and health behaviors in the laboratory and free-living conditions.
- Participate in the development and delivery of health promotion interventions, such as exercise training, dietary interventions, time-restricted eating, and weight loss treatment.
- Assist with study start-up processes per clinical trial protocol and institutional policy.
- Create study-specific source documents to include checklists, phone scripts, screening questions, study forms, etc.
- Assist with designing and overseeing project/study process flows, standard operating procedures, and protocol implementation.
- Complete participant consenting process as per institutional policy and protocol specifications.
- Complete participant visits and obtain protocol specific measures.
- Oversee and/or complete entry of clinical trial data in the appropriate database as per protocol and institutional policy.
- Provide specified and/or specialized clinical, exercise, or interventional procedures and services consistent with areas of expertise or certification.
- Participate in creation, preparation and submission of study procedures and materials for IRB consideration.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
- Louisiana Registered Dietitian license.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, keyboards, and commercial food service equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to effectively multi-task.
- Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
- Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
- Two or more years of experience as a dietitian.
- Experience with menu planning software and nutrient databases.
- Experience with REDCap.

Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a world-renowned academic research institute of Louisiana State University, is seeking a Research Dietitian in the Metabolic Kitchen.
The Research Dietitian will work closely with a small team of researchers and dietitians and will participate in all aspects of clinical research conducted by Pennington Biomedical, including the coordination, planning, and implementation of administrative, clinical, and/or intervention activities.
