General Description:

Fostering Hope, a leading provider of quality care to adults with developmental disabilities, is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator/Job Coach.

In this role, you will work alongside individuals with special needs, assisting them in their career development, professional goals, and long-term workplace success.

Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our fleet of vehicles to ensure safe and reliable transportation for our members.


Work Experience Requirements:


  • Possess a valid Arizona Driver's License
  • Clean driving record
  • Possess/be able to obtain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Article 9 Training
  • Certification in Adult/Child/Infant CPR and First Aid
  • Complete a criminal history affidavit and receive clearance from the Department of Economic Security central registry/OIG/System for award management
  • At least 3 months experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Experience in vehicle inspections and maintenance and coordination/scheduling repairs for agency vehicles preferred

Education Requirements:


  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED

Job Specifications:


  • Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in activities of daily living, as well as related job tasks
  • Coordinate routine inspections and schedule maintenance for agency vehicles
  • Liaise with external vendors to schedule and oversee vehicle repairs and servicing
  • Ensure compliance with agency safety procedures and regulations for vehicle maintenance
  • Ability to lift 25 or more pounds frequently
  • Willingness/ability to support individuals with challenging behavior
  • Reflect agency policy in all interactions with members and exhibit positive, caring behavior
  • Willingness/ability to work outdoors in the summertime and with farm animals
  • Attendance and participation in team meetings
  • Provide transportation to members; must be 21 years or older
  • Ability to clock in/out on personal mobile device (cell phone)
  • Satisfactory oral and written communication, math, and computer skills
  • Be a positive role model for members
  • Cell phone and data plan are required for this position
  • Perform other duties as assigned
