Responsibilities:


What You'll Do:


As a Director of Business Development in Northern CT, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of strategic business plans, forging key partnerships, and cultivating relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, and physicians to expand our market presence and enhance our service offerings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing strategic business plans and initiatives to drive growth, achieve revenue targets, and expand market share within the region, in alignment with organizational goals and objectives
  • Work in collaboration with Administration, Directors of Admissions, and regional team members and support marketing/sales efforts
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, insurance companies, and community organizations, to generate referrals and partnerships
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and service lines to diversify revenue streams and meet the evolving needs of seniors and healthcare consumers
  • Develop and execute targeted sales and marketing strategies to promote our services, differentiate our brand, and drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty
  • Provide educational inservices and presentations for healthcare providers and industry professionals
  • Participate in trade shows, host events, work with nonprofit organizations to host fundraisers and support missions

What You'll Bring:


Qualifications of a Regional Director of Business Development:

  • Self-driven, creative individual with past utilization of unconventional marketing / sales tactics
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 710 years of progressive experience in healthcare business development, sales, or related field, preferably in the longterm care or senior living industry
  • Strong knowledge of longterm care regulations, reimbursement models, and market dynamics, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion
  • Exceptional strategic planning, analytical, and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, develop business cases, and execute initiatives to achieve measurable results
  • Flexibility to travel within the region and as needed to attend meetings, conferences, and events
