    Description
    Job DescriptionOur automotive supplier client is seeking candidates for a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer.

    This position will lead quality projects engaging plant operations, and suppliers leveraging problem-solving techniques to improve and sustain plant quality performance metrics.

    As a key driver of quality improvements within our site, this role will directly impact customers and supply base as an integral part of our business in the drive for zero defects quality performance.

    The schedule for this role is M-F, 7a - 4p. Very little travel is required for this role.

    Responsibilities Lead/support process assessments and other performance improvement activities within our siteLead weekly reviews on quality performance metrics identifying and driving improvements with the use of data analytics and problem-solving tools.

    Lead monthly quality performance and project status reviews of quality projectsSupport/lead deployment of IATF QMS requirements within our site participating in our Internal Audit processLead/support validation of the implementation of corrective / improvement actions across our value stream when needed, to assess the effectiveness of improvements.

    Support deployment of risk mitigation activities across our value stream, to proactively identify and address potential quality risksMonitor operational metrics, and customer/supplier performance promptly to proactively address potential issues.

    Required Qualifications5-10 years of combined experience in a Quality role in operationsExpert in PPAP - Production Part Approval ProcessExpert in Root Cause AnalysisExperience in Automotive Supplier manufacturingDemonstrated hands-on experience working on the floorPreferred QualificationsBS in Engineering or other related fieldFabrication, machining, and assembly knowledge and experience are strongly preferredCertified lead internal auditor (ISO9001 / IATF16949) Green belt/black belt certificationExperience with Process FMEAExperience in the use of SAP ERP systemKnowledge of engineering drawings & tolerancing, standards & specificationsSalary and BenefitsSalary range $80, ,000Paid time offHealth, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance401k
