About the Role: The SVP, IP Partnerships and College is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing relationships with current partners, identifying, fostering, and procuring new IP, and leading the growth of the OneTeam college business. This role works with leaders in all facets of the company, as well as our partners, to ensure each partner's growth and strategic targets are exceeded across all verticals. This role requires the ability to communicate across internal business units as well as different rights holders, evaluate incoming potential partners for strategic fit to OneTeam, negotiate the partnership agreement on behalf of OneTeam, and plan and execute strategies aimed at growing revenue for the college business. This role will be a highly motivated relationship builder, who excels at strategic thinking, problem solving, adaptable communications, and is detail oriented and organized.


Primary duties and responsibilities
include:

Current Rights Holders

  • Work with internal team to identify and develop new ways to drive revenue for existing partners
  • Connect internal leaders with partners to maximize value of OneTeam
  • Develop annual operating plan, KPIs and reporting process to hold OneTeam and PA partners accountable to highperformance culture
  • Consistently communicate with PA partners and be an advocate for them internally to ensure that OneTeam is exceeding expectations
  • Speak with partner constituents to communicate and report the value of OneTeam
  • Ideate with partners and internal leaders to maximize the value of existing and tobedeveloped IP, with the goal of growing existing IP partnerships beyond the current rights
  • Establish a team culture of high quality partner management and revenue generation
Prospective Partners

  • Identify and evaluate potential partnerships with new IP / PA / Union rightsholders
  • Develop relationship with key prospective rights holders, understanding their business needs and communicating the value of OneTeam
  • Create pitch decks in partnership with Corporate Strategy and commercial leaders for new IP opportunities
  • Analyze and develop partnership frameworks, structure term sheets and negotiate agreements
  • Understand the worldwide rights map and work with Head of International to formulate ways OneTeam can add value to and support valuable rights holders
  • Partner with OTP Corporate Strategy and Head of International to build business plan for global IP expansion
College NIL

  • Lead the strategy development and execution for scaling the college NIL business; own OneTeam's college P&L
  • Build strong relationships with key college partners and other stakeholders to accelerate the momentum of the OneTeam college business
  • Partner with OTP licensing and sponsorship leaders to identify, pursue and execute commercial opportunities for expansion in college categories driven by OTP's unique NIL position
  • Develop OTP's presence in college at industry conferences, PR, events and other strategic media opportunities
  • Develop a POV on the future of the college landscape including potential unionization and work cross functionally with OTP, PA partners and industry leaders to ensure athletes are best positioned with OTP at the center
  • Responsible for the implementation and success of the college NIL technology platform and associated partnerships
  • Develop culture of high performance and commercial success within the college NIL team

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 15+ years experience in sports, media, licensing, and/or consumer tech
  • Deep functional experience across at least two of the following three: partner management, business development and strategy and operations
  • Extensive track record of negotiating and executing highvalue commercial deals
  • Fluency with sports commercial deals across licensing, sponsorship and content
  • Experience working with and a passion for women's sports and athlete empowerment
