The profile of the medium-sized and cooperative EDEKA network is based on the successful collaboration of three levels: Nationwide, around 3,600 independent merchants give EDEKA a face.

They take on the role of the local supplier, representing food quality and enjoyment.

They are supported by seven regional wholesale companies, which deliver fresh goods to EDEKA stores daily and also provide support for sales and expansion topics.

The coordination of the EDEKA strategy takes place at the EDEKA headquarters in Hamburg.

It manages the national merchandise business as well as the successful "Wir Lebensmittel" campaign and provides diverse impulses for achieving cross-network goals.


In 2022, EDEKA achieved a turnover of 66.2 billion euros with around markets and around employees. With around apprentices, EDEKA is one of the leading trainers in Germany.

KG at the Hamburg location, we are looking for a project manager (m/f/d) in customer service to fill a vacancy in the Market Research & Customer Service department as soon as possible.

The Market Research & Customer Service department is the central voice to our customers and consolidates customer insights for EDEKA.

In customer service, we support all service lines and channels when it comes to the wishes and suggestions of our customers.

We also analyze any issues that arise in order to derive recommendations for action.
