    Job DescriptionCompany: Sedona Staffing in Waco, Temple & Killeen Texas has hired thousands of people since we opened in February 2000. All of our services are free for prospective employees. We are currently hiring for a CNC Machinist in the Temple, TX area.
    Location: Waco, TX Category/Industry: ManufacturingJob Title: CNC Machinist Job Type: Full-timePay/Salary: $18.00-$23.00 per hour to start. DOE.Hours of Work: Day Shift: 6am-4:30pm M-F Night Shift: 4pm-2:30am M-F
    Job Description/Responsibilities/Essential Functions
    • Operate computer-controlled machines or robots to perform one or more machine functions on metal work pieces.
    • Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
    • Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on production machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
    • Mount materials or workpieces onto production equipment.
    • Stop machines to remove finished workpieces or to change tooling, setup, or workpiece placement, according to required machining sequences.
    • Transfer commands from servers to computer numerical control (CNC) modules, using computer network links. Enter commands, instructions, or specifications into equipment.
    • Check to ensure that workpieces are properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation.
    This position requires repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting and kneeling for long hours. Must pass a criminal background and drug screen.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Willing to work overtime.
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • A minimum of 1 year previous experience needed.
    • Prefer candidate with strong attention to detail, dependability and having the ability to work well with others.
