Quality Engineer * Manufacturing

We are seeking a dynamic Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. If you're a hard-working professional, who enjoys both strategic and tactical workflow with a passion for quality and supply chain then this opportunity is ideal for you.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate manufacturing processes with the goal of continuously improving process performance, machine utilization, and reduction in setup time.
Understands and communicates regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
Develops, documents, deploys, maintains various components of the QMS
Facilitates customer drawing reviews to ensure production readiness and inspect-ability
Facilitates process development/improvement and related documentation
Develops and executes process and equipment validation protocols and reports
Support management of the Non-conforming Material process, including facilitation of root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
Facilitates/leads risk management activities
Performs internal audits in accordance with internal audit schedule
Participates in customer and regulatory audits as required

Qualifications:

Experience in a manufacturing environment
5+ years in Quality Control
Experience with Quality analysis tools: FMEA, PPAP, APQP
Exposure to inspection equipment and techniques.
Superior communication & interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements:

Safely and effectively lift, carry, and move objects of varying weights.
Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, standing, and walking, for extended periods and maintain the necessary physical dexterity and coordination.
Work in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, weather, and noise levels

Education:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or comparable discipline
Certifications including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma would be preferred, not required.
