Primary Purpose:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in working with hand tools.
- Trim excess material or cut threads off finished products to ensure smooth finishes.
- Interpret work orders to determine dimensions, cutting locations, and quantities.
- Shape and form parts according to specifications using power saws or grinders.
- Identify and mark items with defects such as snags, chips, or scratches.
- Determine which parts or sections of products require trimming based on work orders or examination.
- Remove or trim excess material using knives, scrapers, or band saws.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Requirements:

Solid background in plastic manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
- 2+ years' experience recommended
:
- Knowledge of manufacturing operation and quality processes preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude required.
- Ability to work safely, efficiently, and effectively at a rapid pace.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Proficient in working with hand tools.
- Ability to maintain a clean work area.
- Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Monitor safety and quality
Work Environment:

- Factory setting.
Note:
The employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead. Must submit to random drug testing.
Pay:
$16.00 per hour

Experience:
Plastic Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
- Rotomolding: 2 years (preferred)
- Hand tools: 2 years (required)
