Leadership position that includes the following, as well as the normal cross-functional team approach to satisfying production schedules:Job Objectives:
The Team Leader is directly responsible for the extruder operation on his/her shift. The Team Leader reports directly to the Production Supervisor.
The Team Leader is responsible for directing and improving the production of the extruder/winder departments by directing the activity of the other extruder/winder personnel on a daily basis.
Including but not limited to the following responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
- Establish work priorities in conjunction with the value stream manager.
- Assigns and trains associates of the group in safe and correct work procedures and performance using the TWI method.
- Plans work to be performed by the group. Assists assigned associates in resolving on-the-job technical problems.
- Inspects, coordinates, and records work performed by the group.
- Monitors safety.
- Refer problems involving job discipline to the Supervisor for handling.
- Use 5-Why to determine root cause.
- Verifies and holds associates accountable for following Standard Work.
- Lead the morning team meeting.
- Leads continuous improvement activities.
- Operate In production Capacity as needed.
Pay:
From $21.40 per hour
