Description

We are seeking someone in the Service Industry, who has EXPERIENCE as a Dispatcher / Coordinator to join our team Not looking for Trucking or Call Center experience.

Knowledge of FieldEdge and Quickbooks is preferred and a plus. You will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching Field Technicians for our Houston, TX office. Additionally, helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues. Full Time, Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM


Responsibilities:


  • Dispatching and closing Technicians calls.
  • Route the Technician efficiently and cost effective.
  • Schedule and coordinate all service calls as calls are received with site managers.
  • Schedule return trips with customers when parts are in.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Provide information about the products and services.
  • Reports to Branch Manager.
  • Clear and concise communication with employees and customers.
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions.
  • Maintain the dispatch board/schedule.
  • Forecast workload for 23 days out with site leads input.
  • Prepare paperwork for all manufacture warranty parts.
  • Facilitate return of warranty parts.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
  • Enter Service calls.
  • Review technicians service tickets for accuracy.
  • Issue Purchase orders for parts/equipment needed for service call.
  • Receive items into system
  • Handle shipping and receiving of items
  • Provide estimates for service to customer with input of service technicians, sales engineer.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Dispatching experience.
  • Knowledge of FieldEdge and Quicksbooks preferred.
  • Able to work with multiple people and from a distance.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Positive and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and handle multiple tasks.
  • Computer skill required. Knowledgeable and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Attention to detail and well organized.
  • Familiarity with the industry of gate and access control and clients such as Property Management Companies, Residential Communities, is a plus.
  • Two (2) Years of related experience and/or training in customer service, dispatching or project management or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
