Job Description: Training Program

We offer training for parquet installers.
The tasks of this profession are carried out at constantly changing workplaces/construction sites - new buildings or old buildings - renovations. This includes preparing the subfloor, such as performing spackling work. The main task of a parquet installer is to install parquet, carpeting, and PVC flooring.

In theory, you will learn:

  • Familiarization with flooring and work materials
  • Practice calculations
  • Wood knowledge and laying patterns
  • Quality control
  • Work safety
In practice, you will:
  • Cut, glue, and install flooring
  • Prepare subfloors by spackling, sanding, and cleaning
  • Measure rooms and calculate material requirements
  • Create room sketches and laying plans
  • Clean and maintain floors
  • Create insulation
  • Interact with customers
Your profile:
Your strengths should include manual dexterity, spatial imagination, calculation skills for determining material requirements, and attention to detail.
