Sentara Family Medicine Physicians - Greenbrier in Chesapeake, VA.
Highlights of this position include:
Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm; no weekend hours at this time
Work hours somewhat flexible;
No call expectations at this time
APPs carry their own panel of patients; see 18-20 patients per day, ages 5 years and up
Comprehensive benefits, including retirement options
CME reimbursement allowance plus additional days off
The NP/PA is responsible for the provision of health care services to individuals, families, and/or groups who receive their care under the auspices of medical group.
The NP/PA is expected to participate in quality assurance and improvement activities, engage in member of the team activities, and use resources (human and material) appropriately.
APP experience preferred.The NP/PA maintains continuing education credits of as prescribed by licensing body and the medical group and maintains prescriptive authority; acquires special clinical competencies as required by the group; participates in quality assurance and utilization management activities; and assists with risk management functions.
