The Opportunity_

We are seeking Residential Counselors for our _transitional residence in Freeport serving homeless young men and women ages The program provides independent living skills and shelter for up to 18 months in order to prepare them for independent living.

Responsibilities_

Supervise daily activities of the residents.
Oversee inhouse recreation and interaction of residents.
Manage tasks related to the daily operations of the house and residents.
Maintain program paperwork (petty cash, sign outs, timesheets, receipts, logs, etc.)
Perform bed checks and morning wakeup when needed.

Qualifications

HS Diploma/GED required; some college preferred.
Must be 21 years of age.
Minimum of 1 year experience with adolescents.
Valid NYS driver's license with a safe and responsible driving history.

Schedule:

Part-Time Weekends, Saturday-Sunday 4pm12pm
Location: Freeport
Salary: $18.65/hr
