Position Description

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing incoming shipments
• Prepare orders for shipment by labeling and staging products
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Assist in inventory management and cycle counting
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations

Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking

Experience:

One to two years related experience or equivalent preferred


Education:

GED or high school diploma preferred


Physical Activities & Requirements of this Position

• FINGER DEXTERITY: Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together.
• TALKING: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
• AVERAGE HEARING: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
• AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, visual acuity necessary and required to utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Continually required to stand
• Continually required to walk
• Frequently required to sit
• Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
• Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items less than 7 pounds or up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to operate specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles including dollies, electric dollies, and/or pallet jacks.

Working Conditions

Pay Rate:
$17.00/hr

On site


TRAVEL:
Minimal travel is required


HAZARDS:
Typical hazards found in a warehouse environment including forklift traffic and associated noise levels. Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions. Occasionally exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather).
