Core Responsibilities

  • Con Edison, a multibilliondollar energy utility, is leading the clean energy transition in New York City and Westchester County. We are investing hundreds of millions of dollars annually to integrate distributed resources into our electric and gas systems, support electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and scale adoption of energy efficiency and clean heating technologies across our customers.
  • The IT Project Manager will lead the team(s) that implement tools/technology, and manage data analytics and reporting to improve E-Mobility department efficiency, data insights, and customer experience.
  • Lead strategic development of tools to meet the E-Mobility team's ongoing business needs related to infrastructure and managed charging incentive program operations and data/reporting, customer services and tools, and other Company systems that are used to implement the programs and services.
  • Ensure that the E-Mobility team has adequate resources for troubleshooting, improvements, and implementing new functionality for program portal and tool integrations with other systems
  • Lead projects to build new functionality or identify opportunities for future tools to assist the expansion of E-Mobility programs and improve current initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with all Emobility program and project teams to understand how to best meet their business needs, and develop and maintain positive relationships with Company teams outside of E-Mobility
  • Develop and lead training and support is available and effective for program participants who are using program and services platforms and tools to manage their projects
  • Develop and lead training and support for internal EV team users, including business development and program management teams, on best practices and usage of program and services tools.
  • Oversight of data analytics and reporting requirements for Emobility programs to meet regulatory requirements and answering stakeholder and leadership inquiries.
  • Lead procurement and management of thirdparty consultants and technology providers, as needed
  • Work effectively and lead crossfunctional teams responsible for new department initiatives that may arise from time to time.
  • Provide problem solving and strategic support related to platforms and tools for the department.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
  • Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of work experience or
  • Master's Degree and 2 years of work experience

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, energy, or sustainability disciplines or 3 years utility or other business work experience managing IT projects Experience with GIS, PowerBI, or AI is a plus
  • Master's Degree in IT, energy, or sustainability disciplines

Relevant Work Experience

  • Experience managing successful implementation of IT projects/tools/technologies. Required
  • Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues who have a diverse set of experiences and approaches in order to drive business results. Required
  • Excellent organizational capabilities and proven successful management of detailed, complex initiatives. Required
  • Demonstrated agility and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and comfortable working in a dynamic and fastpaced environment. Required
  • Experience with GIS, PowerBI, and AI. Preferred
  • Experience with agile management practices. Preferred
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Preferred
  • Strong communications, presentation, writing and analytical skills. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Driver's License Required

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
