    Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Assistant to join our growing team at PIER 39 San Francisco.

    In this role, you will provide critical support to our Events, Entertainment, Public Relations, and Marketing Partnerships at PIER 39 Assist in creating unique experiences for our visitors.

    The ideal candidate will be methodical, calendar driven and will have proven event planning experience.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES:
    Support the planning and execution of all PIER 39 events.
    Assist in the creation of unique guest experiences with the development, installation, and execution of signage, lighting, and other on
    • PIER improvements.
    Assist with logistics for partnership-driven events and co-promotions.
    Work with entertainment coordinators to ensure a vibrant musician and street performer program.
    Assist with development and publication of press releases.
    Facilitate PIER 39 filming requests and coordinate directly with film crews.
    Oversee the charitable donation program.
    Maintain database of media kits, press materials, and event assets.
    Develop graphics and signs for quick-turn executions.
    Administrative and clerical tasks; including coding bills/invoices, processing expense reports, and sourcing branded products.


    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
    Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized.
    Excellent communicator and collaborator.
    Hospitality-driven mindset.
    Adept at managing multiple workstreams.
    Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as dictated by the job.
    Qualifications1-2 years of experience in the Marketing fieldBA Degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Advertising, Communication, HospitalityStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteProficiency in graphic design (e.g., via Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other)

    Rate:
    $ $31.25 / hour (DOE)Additional InformationPIER 39 is a 45-acre waterfront complex that is a gathering place for millions of San Francisco locals and visitors. In addition to its 14 full-service restaurants, 90+ shops and popular attractions, PIER 39 also has a 5-acre waterfront park and a 300-berth marina. PIER 39 is known for its spectacular views of the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, Alcatraz Island, and the San Francisco city skyline. PIER 39 is also home to the world-famous California sea lions.
