- Assist in inventory management by accurately recording goods movement and updating inventory systems.
- Utilize forklift attachments (such as clamps, rotators, or extensions) as needed to handle different types of loads.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on forklift operation techniques and safety practices.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or near misses involving forklifts to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including aisles, storage areas, and forklifts.
- Proficiency in working within industrial environments, demonstrating adaptability to varying conditions.
- Strong teamwork skills, capable of effectively collaborating with other staff members, including Warehouse Packers, to ensure coordinated movement of goods.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse health and safety regulations, prioritizing the well-being of oneself and others.
- Familiarity with industrial storage protocols, including proper techniques for stacking pallets, ensuring optimal space utilization and safety compliance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math skills for counting and simple calculations.
- Ability to read labels and numbers accurately.
- Comfortable standing for long periods during work shifts.

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS
The Forklift driver is a key member of the warehouse team, responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient goods movement. In addition, to operating forklifts safely, responsibilities include loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, collaborating with team members, conducting equipment inspections, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.
