We are the innovative, growing, and child-oriented children's hospital in the west of Hamburg. The AKK Altona Children's Hospital gGmbH is a non-profit children's hospital with 252 beds, providing specialized care. As a subsidiary of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) and an academic teaching hospital, we participate in the clinical education of students. Each year, we treat full and partial inpatient cases and provide outpatient care to children and adolescents from all over Germany.

We are an interdisciplinary team of doctors, healthcare and pediatric nurses, and therapists who ensure 'round-the-clock' medical treatment, nursing, and therapeutic care for our patients. Over 1,000 employees work at the Altona Children's Hospital.
