    Job Title: Sales Associate (Furniture Store YL)

    JOB SUMMARY:
    Join our team as a Sales Associate where you will represent our brand and help customers discover the value of our products and services. Your role is crucial in creating a positive shopping experience and promoting customer satisfaction.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    CUSTOMER SERVICE:
    • Engage with customers and address their needs.
    • Guide customers to relevant products and promotions.
    • Foster positive relationships and take responsibility for customer interactions.

    ORGANIZATION:
    • Maintain the store's appearance.

    SALES:
    • Provide product recommendations based on customer needs.
    • Utilize sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell.
    • Stay informed about product features and trends.
    • Handle transactions and maintain accurate paperwork.

    INVENTORY:
    • Manage merchandise inventory and ensure accurate labeling.

    DEPENDABILITY:
    • Adhere to your work schedule and execute assigned tasks.
    • Fulfill any other duties as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:
    • Basic understanding of merchandise.

    EXPERIENCE:
    • Retail experience is a plus.

    COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
    • Proficient in written and verbal communication.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
    • Familiarity with basic math functions.

    REASONING ABILITY:
    • Ability to multitask and collaborate within a team.
    • Capable of independent decision-making.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    This role involves constant movement and interaction with customers. It may require lifting and standing for extended periods. Vision and manual dexterity are essential.

    OTHER SKILLS:
    As an ideal candidate, you should be enthusiastic, friendly, and willing to offer exceptional service.

    WORK HOURS:
    Flexibility in work schedules is necessary, including weekends and holidays.
    No prior experience is needed, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
