Troubleshoot and diagnose problems of failed units by analyzing product operational characteristics and performing various tests.
Processing and or reworking product and inventory returnsReconditioning units to factory specificationScrapping, dismantling, and recycling of units and componentsTests products by using the A/C tester or appropriate manufacturing "Functional Test Standard Procedure"Performs repair unit check-in by receiving the product in the JD Edwards system computer systemRead and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to resolve the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged componentsReplace or repair worn, defective, damaged components or products, using hand tools, brazing torches, gauges, and testing equipmentRequisition parts using work order pick list and material requisition processesCoordinate work orders for time and material allocations for accurate and timely completion
YOU HAVE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Ideally 1+ years related experience and/or training as an HVAC service technician or mechanicBasic refrigeration and electrical training or equivalent experienceKnowledge of basic computer software and systems, i.e.
