The Vesuvius Europe GmbH is looking for two service technicians (m/f/d) for the foundry technology department in Duisburg.

Job Description:

As a service technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of slide mechanisms in Duisburg. We are looking for a dedicated all-rounder with manual skills and organizational talent. If you enjoy taking on independent and responsible tasks that constantly challenge you, and thrive in a large industrial environment that can be loud and dusty but still organized, this position might be right for you.

What to expect:

  • Maintenance and repair of slide mechanisms according to maintenance and repair plans
  • Efficient replacement of slides and components of hydraulic ladle closures in casting plants
  • Independent management of on-site workshop and spare parts warehouse
  • Independent organization and monitoring of inventory and ordering processes
  • Regular coordination with the responsible Vesuvius account manager
  • Comprehensive training and workshops in various European plants

Requirements:

  • Desirable: training as a locksmith (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), or electrical installation engineer (m/f/d). Additional qualifications such as a technician degree are also advantageous.
