Position Overview:

Courtesy Chevrolet, a Courtesy Automotive Group dealership, is seeking a Deposit Clerk to join our team.

The Deposit Clerk plays a crucial role in our organization by managing the influx of cash and credit card transactions received from various sources, including customers, vendors, and service providers.

This entails meticulous attention to detail, as you will be responsible for accurately counting, verifying, and recording all incoming funds.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Receive, count, and verify cash and credit card payments from customers and other sources.
  • Prepare daily deposits accurately, ensuring that all funds are correctly counted, recorded, and securely stored.
  • Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including deposit slips, receipts, and reconciliation reports.
  • Liaise with banking institutions to deposit funds and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and financial transactions.
  • Generate regular reports on cash flow, deposits, and financial activities as required by management.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to deposits and payments.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in cash handling, banking, or accounting preferred.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Integrity and reliability in handling confidential financial information.
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
  • Willing to submit to preemployment drug screen and background check.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
