Your task:

You protect our customers by identifying vulnerabilities in their applications, networks, or clouds before a third-party attack can cause damage.

To do this, you work with us using manual or automated pentest tools and procedures, as well as fuzzing, source code reviews, or reverse code engineering.

Your main tasks as a
Junior Penetration Tester (m/f/d) include:

Independently conducting penetration tests and vulnerability scans
Presenting the impact of the identified vulnerabilities to the customer
Advising the customer on suitable countermeasures
Conducting workshops, risk analyses, and audits
Representing Telekom Security at customer events and trade fairs/forums

Your profile:

You have a degree (preferably a Bachelor's degree in IT security) or a completed specialized vocational training and a few years of professional experience.

Furthermore, you have the following advanced and in-depth technical knowledge and skills:

First practical experience in the field of penetration testing (also in private environment with CTFs)
Good knowledge of IT security, IT security tools, as well as common operating systems and network technologies
First programming experience, e.g. with Python, Java, C/C++
Ideally, knowledge in a specialized area, such as smartphone app testing, OT security, or cloud audits
Good German and English skills in speaking, writing, and presenting
