Job Summary:


Supports and assures the daily operation of Nutrition Services Department at an acceptable level of quality in all facets of the department.

Leads the day-to-day operations of the nutrition department. Oversees preparation of food to ensure quality. Leads clinical and nutrition services which includes education, training, and nutritional assessments.


Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
  • Three years' technical experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

  • SERV Safe certification: Required
  • ServSafe (SERVSAFE): Required

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates nutrition staff and leads staffing planning. Provides assistance to food service staff and provides exceptional service to assure positive food service experience to all customers.
  • Coordinates the preparation of food in accordance to food safety regulations. Maintain the quality and safety of food products and equipment. Applies food safety and infection control principles, focusing on details on a daily basis.
  • Creates and leads training regarding health and nutrition.
  • Assures a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, guests and visitors.
  • Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned.
