    University of Missouri School of Medicine - Department of Psychiatry

    The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri-Columbia/MU Health Care is looking for a clinical psychotherapist or social worker to join their team working with adults in an outpatient clinic setting. This full-time position offers flexibility in work hours and has openings at South Providence Medical Building and Battle Avenue Clinic.

    • Monday - Friday (with flexible scheduling) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    • 6 hours per week dedicated to paperwork
    • 5 days of Continuing Medical Education with a $1,200 allowance
    • Quarterly bonus

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Social worker: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant area and at least 2 years of experience are required, along with the necessary licensure for the position.

    Psychotherapist: Requires a Master's degree in social work, mental health nursing, counseling education, psychology, or related area, along with Missouri licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist, Professional Counselor, or Certified Clinical Specialist in Mental Health Nursing. One year of clinical therapeutic experience in a medical setting is also needed.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Preferred certifications include LCSW or LPC, along with a Master's degree or equivalent experience in social work, counseling education, or psychology. Experience with various therapy models and working with adults in an outpatient setting is desired.

    Psychotherapist Salary Range: $49,878 - $72,259/year

    Social Worker Salary Range: $50,367 - $79,354/year
