Job Title: IT Production Support Specialist at Milestone Technologies

Responsibilities:

Triage, troubleshoot & resolve front line production support alerts and tickets.
Monitor high traffic systems and operations including applications, containers, middleware, physical hardware, and databases.
Implement continual operational improvements through a systematic, test, and measure approach.
Collaborate with key technology partners such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express to resolve platform issues.
Lead telephone or video calls with internal teams and external partners.
Support new Apple Pay projects upon launch.

Requirements for Success:

Proficiency in incident and problem management at an application support level.
Experience troubleshooting java-based applications in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, AppDynamics, etc.
Understanding of KPIs, metrics, and SLOs.
High attention to detail and self-motivated.
Competency in coding or scripting languages like Python, Ansible, Go, Bash, Ruby.
Experience with automating manual tasks and version control tools like Git or SVN.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for delivering exceptional customer and stakeholder experiences.
