Overview:

Vice President of Quality**The RiverWoods Group is currently seeking VP of Quality to come join our team As the Vice President of Quality at the RiverWoods Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across our communities. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead and coordinate efforts to maintain compliance with state, federal, and professional regulations while spearheading initiatives to enhance resident and family services throughout the continuum. Your expertise will be essential in fostering a culture of quality and excellence throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning:


  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance quality of care and services.
  • Develop longterm quality improvement plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Quality Assurance (Health Care):


  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and systems to monitor, evaluate, and improve resident care and services.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Quality Assurance (Full Continuum):


  • Create and teach a QAPI mindset for all leadership teams to address complex operational challenges.

Regulatory Compliance:


  • Ensure consistent readiness for all quality management and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee compliance with state, federal, and professional regulations, including Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations and State of New Hampshire 803 and 805 regulations.
  • Coordinate CARF accreditation surveys, ensuring adherence to accreditation standards.

Staff Training and Development:


  • Provide leadership and direction to the quality assurance team including training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and competencies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among staff members.

Performance Improvement:


  • Lead performance improvement initiatives to address identified areas of concern and enhance overall resident satisfaction.
  • Analyze data and metrics to track progress towards quality improvement goals and objectives.

Risk Management:


  • Identify potential risks to resident safety and wellbeing, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to implement risk management protocols and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Lead the Caring Communities Prescriptives review and ensure compliance as appropriate.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.


EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare quality management, with specific experience in senior living or long-term care settings preferred.

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to senior living communities.
