Description
The training to become a mechatronics technician combines two fields: mechanics and electrical engineering. Do you feel comfortable in both areas? Then this apprenticeship is perfect for you. As a mechatronics technician, you will be involved in the assembly and maintenance of complex machines, systems, and equipment. At the beginning of your training, you will learn the basics of hydraulics, pneumatics, and control technology.

Knowledge of metalworking and electrical engineering are also part of the training, as well as programming, measuring, and testing components.


Start of training:
September 1, 2024
Duration of training: 3.5 years (possible to shorten)

Requirements:

  • At least a qualified secondary school leaving certificate, preferably a middle school diploma
  • English skills
  • First experience with Microsoft Office
  • Basic technical knowledge
  • Enjoyment of manual work and manual dexterity
  • Ideally, first internship experience
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Possible areas of application:

  • Assembly of series machines
  • Assembly in plant and special machine construction
  • PLC programming
  • Service/maintenance
