    Front End Manager

    FULL-TIME

    $20/hr

    Ensuresthat product is properly loaded, rung up and processed accuratelyand timely as well as handling customer problems and issues todevelop a spirit of positive customer service.

    Essential functions:
    - Supervising, training,evaluating and works alongside cashiers, front-end loaders,checkers and U-boat retrieval
    - Ensuring safe operatingprocedures are followed.
    - Making recommendations forhiring, firing and promoting of employees.
    - Preventinglong lines and delayed customer checkouts by anticipating busytimes of each day, week and/or season and developing weeklyschedules for cashiers and loaders including lunches and breaks.
    - As part of loss prevention, ensures all employees atregisters are performing cart to cart transfers when processingsales.
    - Securing front end by making sure the loadersand cashiers do not exchange information on counts from thereceipt.
    - Ensuring that loaders are loading wagons andassisting customers to the parking lot.
    - Ensuring thatcashiers are checking big boxes to ensure the integrity of thering-up.
    - Ensuring Front End Supervisors are checkingall wagons at point of exit for proper date, name on top ofreceipt, number of receipt total of last receipt, and matches totalon yellow paid receipt.
    - Reviewing cashier and loadererrors and documents in log, for them to sign.
    -Handling adjustments, returns, over rings, voids, etc. so as tomaintain a smooth flow of customers.
    - Keeps logs ofitems not properly labeled to make sure they are corrected onfloor.
    - Assuring that customer problems are handledquickly so as not to allow the cashier or loader to have words withthe customer.
    - Maintaining dialogue with customers toget feedback on items not found, and quality of service on thefloor.
    - Maintaining a New Item Request log which isreviewed weekly with the Branch Manager.
    - Ensuring allsupervisors are completing a minimum of 5 test checks per day theywork.
    - Maintaining integrity of F/E displays andstocking areas.
    - Ensuring registers are stocked withthe Rate Us Cards, flyers, hot sheets, store maps, etc.

    MSN-04 WS-04 WS-TC WS-LC Schedule

    Shift start:6:00AM or 9:00AM
    Shift length: hours
    5 days/week, must be available any day

    Qualifications
    • Can lift 50 lbs
    • Must be at least 18+years old
    Bachelor's Degree or high schooldiploma/GED with at least 4 years experience in customer serviceAbility to read, analyze and interpret general businessperiodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questionsfrom managers, clients, and general public Ability to calculatefigures, and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions,percentages, area, mass and volume. Effective oral and writtencommunication skills. High level of interpersonal skills to handlesensitive and confidential situation and documentation. ComputerLiteracy
