    Description

    About the Role:

    Join us in safeguarding the Security Cloud against advanced threats As a Senior Security Engineer in Product Security, you will collaborate closely with product engineers to embed security into new services across our Product teams. This dynamic role involves working with our complex, event-driven infrastructure to ensure optimal balance between performance and protection.

    What You'll Do:

    • Develop threat models and utilize tools to secure platform services
    • Contribute to creating secure system designs considering evolving threats and product landscapes
    • Collaborate with product teams to facilitate rapid product iterations and deployments
    • Cultivate strong relationships with product and engineering leaders

    What You'll Need:

    • Proficiency in Cloud-scale, mission-critical Linux and/or similar Unix-like environments
    • Understanding of cloud platforms and highly concurrent systems
    • Expertise in operating within AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and/or Azure environments
    • Knowledge of security architecture principles throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • Experience in working with product engineering teams and product launch processes
    • Ability to write scripts, automate tasks, and analyze aggregated data
    • Blend of confidence, autonomy, critical thinking, and strong communication skills

    Bonus Points:

    • Domain expertise in Kubernetes containerized infrastructure and security
    • Familiarity with Salt, Chef, Ansible, or configuration management principles
