Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Clean steel material using wire wheels to prep for building and painting
- Wiring lights on finished trailers
- Light fabrication and welding of trailer parts
- Assisting in general cleaning
- Assisting in the production process by cutting, bending, and or drilling metal sheets, stock, etc.
- Assisting in the production process by cleaning raw materials
- Assisting in the production process by painting products
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Building strong knowledge of our products and processes
- Work with the production supervisor to ensure proper customer service is being delivered
- Perform all tasks correctly and efficiently
- Drive company vehicle for pickups and deliveries (optional)
Skills and Requirements:
- Must be highly motivated and positive individual
- Physically fit to stand, bend, and carry heavy items (up to 75 pounds)
- Experience using shop hand tools
- Previous spray painting experience a plus
- Exceptional listener with excellent time management
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to identify and creatively solve problems
- Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
Previous experience driving/using a forklift is a plus:
- Must have Driver's License
- Ability to operate a wide variety of equipment
