Fleming Trailers is now owned by Handi Products, which helps people live a better life through products within the wheelchair accessibility, material handling, and slip and fall prevention arenas.

Our national sales team works closely with customers to create custom solutions for a variety of industrial, commercial, institutional and residential requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Clean steel material using wire wheels to prep for building and painting
  • Wiring lights on finished trailers
  • Light fabrication and welding of trailer parts
  • Assisting in general cleaning
  • Assisting in the production process by cutting, bending, and or drilling metal sheets, stock, etc.
  • Assisting in the production process by cleaning raw materials
  • Assisting in the production process by painting products
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Building strong knowledge of our products and processes
  • Work with the production supervisor to ensure proper customer service is being delivered
  • Perform all tasks correctly and efficiently
  • Drive company vehicle for pickups and deliveries (optional)

Skills and Requirements:


  • Must be highly motivated and positive individual
  • Physically fit to stand, bend, and carry heavy items (up to 75 pounds)
  • Experience using shop hand tools
  • Previous spray painting experience a plus
  • Exceptional listener with excellent time management
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to identify and creatively solve problems
  • Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm

Previous experience driving/using a forklift is a plus:

  • Must have Driver's License
  • Ability to operate a wide variety of equipment

  • High school or equivalent (required)

Experience:


  • Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
Metal Paint Prep: 1 year (preferred)
