In collaboration with our partners, we have been offering training as a nurse/nursing specialist since .

Starting in 2020, the generalist training as a nurse/nursing specialist will replace the individual training occupations of elderly care, health and nursing care, and pediatric nursing.

This EU-wide recognized training offers diverse perspectives in nursing and medical fields and provides access to all further training opportunities throughout Europe.

To prepare you for your future career, you will be accompanied by experienced and pedagogically trained practical instructors from the Christian Clinics Potsdam (CKP) as well as teachers from the nursing school at the Oberlin Vocational Schools.

You will get to know the working methods and services of three different clinics and complete your theoretical and practical training in one city.

Practical training

The practical training consists of 2,500 hours and is completed in three cooperating hospitals in Potsdam: the orthopedic specialist clinic Oberlinklinik, the Alexianer St.

Josefs Hospital, and the Evangelisches Zentrum für Altersmedizin. Here, you will learn professional care for children, adolescents, adults, and elderly people.
