Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Bookkeeper.

As an Assistant Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daytoday bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining financial records
• Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Collaborate with the bookkeeping team to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures
• Utilize accounting software, QuickBooks, to perform various accounting tasks
• Perform 10 key typing for data entry purposes
• Assist with other adhoc financial projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role is preferred
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices, including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Proficiency in using accounting software QuickBooks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
