    Description

    Our client, a US company that markets and distributes over-the-counter healthcare and personal care products, is passionate about offering innovative and quality products to customers around the globe. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Senior Insights Manager is responsible for ensuring the voice of the consumer and shopper influences all key elements of new product development through brand activation for specific brands/categories across the portfolio. Prior market research, consumer insights research, and data analytics experience - with a CPG, OTC, or Insights supplier - is REQUIRED.

    Job Duties:

    • Design consumer insights studies that align with brand objectives
    • Execute custom qualitative and quantitative research including concept testing, general consumer learning, consumer targeting and need gap identification, brand and product positioning, brand health tracking analysis, macro trend identification, and shopper insights
    • Synthesize survey results and data into actionable recommendations for business
    • Utilize quantitative research tools and techniques across spectrum of new product development and base consumer marketing including concept development, advertising testing, segmentation, package development, volumetric estimations, pricing, and attitude and usage studies
    • Lead qualitative research to meet business objectives
    • Utilize external business intelligence sources (Mintel, Kantar etc.) to translate trends into recommendations for brands
    • Utilize syndicated scanner and panel metrics (IRI/Nielsen, MRISimmons, Numerator, Spectra etc.) to assess brand health
    • Influence decisions and action planning for both national and regional strategies that drive retail sales and growth
