    UPG is looking for an experienced, motivated, and self-driven Director of Operations.

    As a Director of Operations, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.

    This position will report to the Divisional President.
    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.

    Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.
    Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
    Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.
    Oversees manufacturing, engineering and purchasing departments, ensuring each is reaching goals set by departmental and company leadership.
    Plans, directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets to achieve financial objectives.

    Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.

    Improves customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
    Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
    Performs other related duties as assigned.
    Position Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or relevant field
    Extensive and diversified background with at least 10 years of related experience
    Strong plant manufacturing experience
    Lean and Visual Factory Implementation experience
    Strong knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines
    Strong knowledge of industry latest trends and best practices
    In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles such as supply chain, finance, customer service, operations and etc
    Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
    Extremely proficient in MS Office and various business software's (e.g. ERP, CRM)
    Great communication and interpersonal skills
    Superior managerial and diplomacy skills
    Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
