Warehouse Verifier for the 2nd shiftType:
Full Time
Location:
Garden City
Salary:
$17.50 per hour
Hours: 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against orders and other documents
- Inspect shipments for accuracy, quality, and damages
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of products
- Record and report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel
- Organize and maintain records of inventory, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Ability to accurately read and interpret documents such as shipping orders, invoices, and packing lists
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors
- Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, as needed
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures
- Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines
- Bilingual in Spanish
Benefits:
