Welcome to BAUHAUS in Milo, IA We are currently seeking both entry-level and experienced individuals to join our team at the BAUHAUS specialty store.

This position is available for full-time or part-time employment, with an indefinite contract starting immediately.

As a Cashier / Cashier Assistant (m/f/d), you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the checkout.

Your responsibilities will include:

Accurately processing transactions at the checkout and quickly adapting to new cash register systems
Creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our customers, encouraging them to return
Being a reliable and knowledgeable resource for customers, even when working at the information desk
Demonstrating both warmth and responsibility in your interactions with customers

Your profile:

A completed commercial apprenticeship, such as a salesperson or retail merchant (m/f/d), is desirable but not mandatory
Previous experience in cashiering and using cash register systems is preferred
You have a strong customer service mindset and are able to remain friendly and helpful even in busy situations
You are reliable, able to handle stress, and enjoy working in a team
