Position Summary


The Assistant Branch Manager will be responsible for the administrative and organizational management of general front and back-office operations and procedures and to provide support to team members, customers, and suppliers.

Responsibilities will include Planning and scheduling, managing team members, quality control, inventory management, some budgeting and EHS.


Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

  • Oversees general office administration and provides support in a variety of areas and functions.
  • Assists with and ensure accuracy with bookings by reviewing and tracking Sales orders throughout each stage of the process.
  • Maintains customer and booking information in system and makes changes as needed.
  • Schedule daily truck pickups and work closely with truck reps.
  • May handle some accounts payable and customer invoicing.
  • Assist with billing for projects, customer changes and requests, rescheduling, and other duties.
  • Assists with change orders, subcontractors, and vendor information,
  • Supports location as needed with bills of lading, custom paperwork on shipments, maintains recordkeeping for daily shipments, invoicing.
  • Materials Management, maintaining min/max establishment and routing materials planning by conducting cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy. Functional assessment of supply & demand sing D365 MRP system.
  • Performs other office administrative duties including but not limited to ordering office supplies and other supplies/services.
  • Handles all site maintenance issues (e.g. manufacturing and office equipment, etc.), will assist in maintenance, repair and operational items to keep the workshop running, utilizing AFE and AR approval for expenses processes.
  • Performs and supports estimating functions for nonstandard price list items.
  • Able to communicate estimations and modifications across McWane divisions and facilities needed to meet customer and deadline demands
  • Review and release work orders to generate production schedule.
  • Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts both internally and externally to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules
  • Assist in formulation and recording production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, or quality control measures

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum (35) years of office management experience in a manufacturing environment and demonstrated interpersonal skills via previous work experience.
  • Must possess proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn other software systems.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while also focusing on project completion.
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Position Requirements

  • Standing, walking, stooping, balancing, kneeling, reaching, and sitting are some of the physical requirements.
  • Will be required to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to work around some dust and fumes.
