    Description
    The Digital Production Coordinator oversees the scheduling/creation of MP Audiobooks and eBooks for upload to audiobook/eBook retail partners.

    Essential Functions

    Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

    Coordinate the creation of audiobook scripts and eBook files.
    Deliver final script, Intro/Outro, and Listener's Guide to Book Buddy Media for production and schedule.
    Deliver files for eBook creation to our eBook vendor.
    Coordinate eBook and audiobook proofing.

    Proofread/listen to alpha files received from Book Buddy Media and report any additional recording errors to BBM for final corrections.

    Communicate final audiobook and eBook corrections to the appropriate vendor.
    Coordinate the creation of the audiobook cover image with Creative Assistant.
    Store all final files in MP network.
    Assist in uploading final files to ACX/Audible and Firebrand.
    Perform related and special duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

    Ability to quickly learn and manage high level of detail.
    Typically listens to books in audiobook format.
    Enjoys accuracy and scheduling.
    Excellent communication skills.
    Conscientious self-starter who appreciates collaboration and flexibility.
    Skilled in Microsoft software and Adobe Acrobat DC.
    Authorized to work in the US legally without sponsorship.

    Preferred Requirements

    Able to handle high levels of responsibility, extremely organized & able to prioritize.
    Able to track multiple projects simultaneously.

    This is a part-time position that is scheduled to regularly work 28 hours a week.

    This job could be performed in either our Chicago office or remote. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
